MAS RODÓ Riesling

MAS RODÓ Riesling       "Typical Riesling in the Mediterranean"

The Riesling in Germany are grown on different soil types but their typical and hardly repeatable features are produced by freezing vines’ roots in winter.
Few wineries have dared to plant Riesling in Spain.
MAS RODÓ winery located at 500 meters above sea level in the Alt Penedes and subject to extreme weather conditions offers this feature on stony ground.
Our Riesling type "trocken" is produced without interruption of fermentation, is drier, more adapted to the Mediterranean taste and its fermentation in barrel emphasizes its different character with a personal touch.
